Square Zero has used its expertise in live hologram production to create the Gibraltar Time Tunnel, the only purpose-built holographic theatre in the world.<\/p>\n

\"Square<\/a><\/p>\n

The specialist production company was commissioned by Rock Brand Communications to create the show, which covers 200 million years of Gibraltar\u2019s past, present and future in twenty action-packed minutes.<\/p>\n

Square Zero used cutting-edge technology and Musion Systems projection to create the entire show combining holograms with a multitude of different local media from Path\u00e9 news clips to still photography. Gibraltar Time Tunnel opened its doors at the Ocean Village Marina in Gibraltar in July and will remain open to the public for at least the next year.<\/p>\n

The project\u2019s director was Najma Bhatti, an award-winning director at Square Zero who recently worked on the highly acclaimed \u2018Nothing is Impossible\u2019 holograms for the Saatchi & Saatchi New Director\u2019s Showcase, at the 2010 Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe history of Gibraltar is a truly fascinating story and told through a holographic production the audience is able to be fully immersed and taken to another level of narrative,\u201d said Bhatti. \u201cIt was great to bring our experience of working with holograms to this project, knowing that the show will be enjoyed by visitors that come from all over the world. The job was demanding as we had to pack so much history into such a short space of time, however it was an incredibly fun project to be involved with and we look forward to seeing the audience\u2019s reactions.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cGibraltar is an extremely popular tourist destination and visitors are captivated by its history,\u201d said Barnett Fletcher, Founder Partner, Rock Brand Communications. \u201cWhen this project came about we needed to find a company with the experience and specialist expertise to do the story of Gibraltar justice. Square Zero have done a fantastic job on this and we are very confident this show will make a great addition to Gibraltar\u2019s tourism product.\u201d<\/p>\n

Square Zero also recently won a Gold IVCA Award in the External Interactive Media category, for their groundbreaking work on the launch of the new Vauxhall Astra \u2013 a 360 degree Virtual Reality Experience and interactive viral campaign.<\/p>\n
