The facility will immediately begin work on the 50th anniversary episode of <i>Doctor Who<\/i> (BBC) and <i>Sherlock: Series Three<\/i> (Hartswood Films\/BBC), as well as the new TV adaptation of <i>Jonathan Strange<\/i> <span style=\"color: #353535;\"><i>&amp; Mr Norrell<\/i><\/span> (Cuba Pictures\/BBC), a mini-series due to be broadcast on BBC One in 2014.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe talented team that makes up Milk has a wealth of award-winning experience in creating film quality visual effects for TV and highly complex stand-alone sequences for feature films,&#8221; said Milk CEO Will Cohen. &#8220;Nine years of working together prior to Milk has allowed us to build an effective working methodology with the ability to achieve creative excellence. And the work all comes together with incredible team spirit and passion.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>As well as Cohen (CEO\/Executive Producer), Milk&#8217;s founders and owners are Nick Drew (Milk Managing Director\/Executive Producer), Jean-Claude Deguara (VFX Supervisor and Joint Head of 3D), Nico Hernandez (VFX Supervisor and Joint Head of 3D), Sara Bennett (VFX Supervisor and Head of 2D) and VFX Supervisor Murray Barber. All six founders of the business previously comprised the senior management and creative team of the Mill&#8217;s Film and TV division.<\/p>\n<p>The founders collectively have an array of award-winning credits for creating high-end visual effects including BAFTA-winning work on <i>Doctor Who <\/i>and<i> Merlin <\/i>(BBC), as well as Oscar nominated work on <i>Snow White and the Huntsman <\/i>(Universal Studios). The Milk team\u2019s TV credits also include <i>Ice Age Giants <\/i>(BBC), <i>Skins Redux <\/i>(Channel 4) and <i>Sinbad <\/i>(Sky). Feature film credits include <i>Les Miserables <\/i>(Universal Studios), <i>Dredd 3D <\/i>(DNA Films) and the upcoming <i>47 Ronin <\/i>(Universal Studios), which was shot in native stereoscopic 3D.<\/p>\n<p>Cohen added: \u201cMilk aims to be the most sought after visual effects team in what we believe is blossoming into a thriving industry for high-end TV visual effects.
