Shot in stereoscopic 3D, the 75-minute special episode was broadcast on BBC One in the UK as well as a simulcast to 94 countries and in more than 1500 cinemas across the world, winning a Guinness World Record as the largest simulcast of a TV drama in history.<\/p>\n<p><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8709 lazyload\" alt=\"DoctorWho50_Doctor_Screwdrivers\" data-src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/firedbydesign.com\/fbdimg\/2013\/11\/DoctorWho50_Doctor_Screwdrivers.jpg?resize=600%2C124&#038;ssl=1\" width=\"600\" height=\"124\" data-srcset=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/firedbydesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/DoctorWho50_Doctor_Screwdrivers.jpg?w=600&amp;ssl=1 600w, https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/firedbydesign.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/DoctorWho50_Doctor_Screwdrivers.jpg?resize=520%2C107&amp;ssl=1 520w\" data-sizes=\"(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" style=\"--smush-placeholder-width: 600px; --smush-placeholder-aspect-ratio: 600\/124;\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Milk created a series of jaw-dropping large-scale CG environments, action and CG spacecraft in stereoscopic 3D to support the epic storyline in which the Doctors embark on their greatest adventure yet: all of reality is at stake as the Doctor&#8217;s own dangerous past comes back to haunt him.<\/p>\n<p>Milk created 129 visual effects shots, including the dramatic sequences featuring the Gallifreyan city of Arcadia under siege at the hands of the Daleks.
