Adobe has previewed new 3D printing features and services for a future version of Photoshop at London\u2019s 3D Printshow.<\/a><\/p>\n

The capabilities will enable Photoshop CC users, 3D printer manufactures and 3D print service providers to make use of either the 3D PDF and the SVX file formats to streamline 3D printing workflows.<\/p>\n

The ISO standard 3D PDF file format enables 3D printing job submissions and workflows, streamlining their processes and reducing\u00a0costs. Photoshop\u2019s new Print to PDF feature runs the 3D model through the 3D printing pipeline, so files are automatically checked and repaired prior to creating the 3D PDF file.<\/p>\n

Photoshop CC users will now able to produce high quality, full colour, sliced 3D models using the SVX format for colour 3D printers. The 3D printing pipeline in Photoshop CC verifies and updates the file when converting to SVX.<\/p>\n

Adobe is also to offer 3D Hubs support built-in to Photoshop CC, so customers can submit print jobs\u00a0to service providers in their local area through the worldwide network.\"Photoshop-CC,-3D-Printing,-Hub-Support\"<\/p>\n

A new printer profile for Photoshop CC supporting the Tinkerine Ditto Pro will be available for download via Photoshop.com. Once installed, users will be able to print their 3D models directly from Photoshop CC to their Ditto Pro printers.<\/p>\n
